Our community efforts focus on assuring that people of all ages, racial and ethnic backgrounds have access to a high-quality, culturally appropriate educational instruction and support that will maximize their personal success – with a special focus on youth, education and promotion of the Technical expertise.

Our Responsibility & Commitments:

Lucentbyte with operations in more than 30 countries with over 200 employees, has committed itself to becoming a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and we are working to incorporate CSR into the Lucentbyte’s strategic objectives and operations. Each year, Lucentbyte and its staff contribute significantly to charities and community projects to help bring about a better quality of life to the less privileged in the community and enrich their lives.

While the range of causes we support is diverse – based on individual community needs – we emphasize activities and, projects and organizations that will produce tangible, positive results, particularly in the areas of education, health, social services, arts and culture.

We strive to maintain a productive and open dialogue with all parties who may have an interest in our activities, including customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, employees, and contracted workers. We take a responsible approach to environmental issues and are proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to become more efficient. In addition, a fundamental aspect of our Corporate Responsibility (‘CR’) strategy has been our commitment to supporting the development of the wider community.

We believe that social responsibility is not only a principle to uphold with our communities but also internally with our team members, and we encourage our employees and management to take part in our CSR initiatives. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics in our business practices and in our dealings with all of our stakeholders. We are above all dedicated to social responsibility as a value that goes hand-in-hand with our strategic business objectives and that enhances the way we do business.

Lucentbyte’s Long Term CSR Strategy: 2010-2015

During calendar year 2010, the transition of Lucentbyte’s Corporate Social Responsibility team from four different business units to one unified department led to analysis of current capabilities, priorities and strategic choices. The result of this year-long process is a unified strategy with clearly articulated social and environmental goals. Through greater stakeholder awareness and collaboration, we intend to demonstrate transformative value to our communities and advance consumer and regional objectives.

Our commitment to CSR is based on the thrusts of education and community development, the environment and workplace development. We work to align the objectives of our business with that of society and the world around us. We strive to make education a part of Lucentbyte’s culture, and are pleased to work together with numerous government and non-governmental organizations in giving back to society. We believe that everyone should have access to quality education.

We are actively involved in adopting schools, sponsorship of books and supplies to underequipped schools and disadvantaged students, organising annual motivations camps and other endeavours towards elevating education for our young as the country progresses into a knowledge economy.

Lucentbyte also commits itself to good environmental practices in its businesses. Besides ensuring that we operate in accordance with the highest environmental standards, we also take proactive steps to increase awareness toward environmental conservation within the local communities impacted by our presence.
