Lucentbyte Launches Innovative Outsourcing Training Program in Bangalore

Located in International Service Business Park, the program aims to deepen India’s talent pool by providing specialized training in business process management (BPM) and IT services skills for 1,000 to 2,000 students and employees over the next five years.

Courses in the training program are taught by highly-experienced Lucentbyte managerial and technical staff, aided by guest expert lecturers from the local municipal government. Students can choose from over 2,000 hours of training courses, including “Basic skills for the BPO Industry”, “BPO Product Knowledge: Finance Module”, “ITO Product Knowledge: Oracle Technology Module”, and English or Spanish language classes. The courses emphasize hands-on learning and focus on imparting service outsourcing industry expertise and global best practices. Completion of the training program takes three to four months, at the end of which trainees are offered internships at Lucentbyte or employment opportunities with the Karnataka government. In the first quarter of this year, 130 students entered into the initial phase of the training program.
